What are Natural Gas Liquids (NGL)?

Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) are hydrocarbons that are typically found in association with natural gas deposits. NGLs include a range of different liquid compounds, such as ethane, propane, butane, and pentane, which have different properties and uses. NGLs are typically separated from the raw natural gas stream during processing, using various methods such as cryogenic distillation or absorption.
